Perspective

Every point of view can be countered by another. Every truth or fiction can be debunked if you try hard enough. Every absolute truth requires a degree of faith, so before you go bashing my views on things, realize that I could easily do that same. I believe that if you are not biased and claim to be “tolerant” of all the other viewpoints, you are ignoring the truth. The fact of the matter is that everyone believes different things. I believe a certain way, if you don’t, it is none of my business. Everyone should be free to believe as they want, and I will surely explain my views to anyone who wants to know, but there is no point in trying to force anyone to see your side, unless you are a moron. Good way to lose an eye. I understand where people are coming from even when they vehemently oppose my views, and I don’t discount it. I may think you’re wrong, but it doesn’t matter. What does matter is that we do what we think is right. As long as your agenda isn’t harmful to your fellowman or evil, etc. then I don’t think it matters.

God
God’s existence cannot be unequivocally proven or disproven. Freak out if you want, but it is true. Christians like to point the bible as the evidence. I agree it is compelling, but outside of it, for people who don’t believe in the bible, what else is there. I believe there is plenty of evidence to support the fact that God does exist. Oh, wait, did you see what I said? I BELIEVE he exists. BELIEVE = FAITH = EVIDENCE OUTWEIGHS DOUBT. You have to have faith in your own viewpoint or it isn’t true. I can’t believe what I don’t believe until I am convinced by external information. I won’t believe what I don’t believe in, because that set of data doesn’t happen to match my drawn conclusions. All beliefs are educated guesses or gut feelings, which are somewhat unreliable sometimes. It all comes down to this, you must believe in what you believe in for it to be true to you. You do not act on things you don’t believe in, even if you say you believe something, or think you believe something. What you do proves what you really think and really believe.

Having laid that out, I do believe God exists. Why is irrelevant, but the point is that if he does, I am in some trouble, cause I have messed up a bunch of the stuff he made. I am mean, wrong, evil, and nothing good comes from me on a base level. Once God invaded me, took over, and began changing the wallpaper in here, I am quite different. I think about other people, I do good at every opportunity. I don’t do it to get God’s approval or salvation, I don’t need to, I already have it. I do it BECAUSE I have been ransomed and pulled from the jaws of a very big death. I don’t do it because I have to. That wasn’t the conditions of my salvation, it is a self-chosen by-product out of gratitude for what was done.

Public Education
I don’t believe in public education. A good percentage of today’s millionares never finished high school. I don’t think education is a bad thing, just that it is not the only thing that is important. There are other ways to learn and they often yield better results than a public education. The school system is a place where you spend the first portion of your life, and it doesn’t guarantee that you learn anything. You can slack off your whole life in school, and you will at work. The way to get ahead in life is to take it into your own hands and work hard even you are a child. Feed your brain, that is what matters.

Politics
Politics are carefully calculated exercises in high school drama and social deception. They don’t do anyone any real good until politicians engage in the same actions any of us can take to change the world. Lobbyists are evil, only looking out for their own interests. No one in Washington does things for the people, it only happens when it serves their own ends, ego, and reputation.

Religion
I don’t believe in religion, it is useless, worthless, and a waste of time. A relationship with God, one on one however is the only “religious” thing that is essential. There is a big difference. Religion is a club you are a part of so people will see you in a certain light, it has nothing to do with you. A relationship with an almighty, holy God is life-altering, and it is the only thing that adds hope and makes sense of this messed up life and fallen world. Faith means nothing if it doesn’t strip you down and totally change you from the epic-center outward. If you don’t make it your business to help others in need as a result of the reversed polarity in your life, it isn’t worth it. In the same way, a church that doesn’t help you A) touch God in a real way, and B) reach out to others isn’t worth your time, money, or service.

So many people, in my experience Christians, feel that it is their job to annoy the hell out of “unbelievers” until they chuck their brain and decide to blindly follow some sky-bound deity they’ve never seen. This is wrong. If Christians were listening to Jesus, he said to go into all the world and make disciples, and to preach the gospel. He never said “use words, use a soapbox, be annoying” he meant for Christians to use their lives, “make it your ambition to live a quiet life, to work with your hands, so those who see your good works will glorify your father in heaven.” Christians aren’t supposed to be loudmouths. If someone wants to know about my faith, I will freely tell them, but they KNOW I am a Christian by what I do, and who I am, NOT by what I say. I can yap all day, but what I do is what matters, because it screams louder anyway. If people know that I am someone who will listen, who cares, and who can be trusted, opportunities will come along that I can be a force for good intheir lives. That is what helps people see who it is that drives me. I am possessed by good, overwhelmed in goodness, and that is weird.

Christians are trying to shelter themselves from the world, hiding in their own separate world, creating all the things they need to shiver under the Christian bubble, the dome, which keeps all the bad things out. The people that feel the sin aftermath aren’t allowed in our holy presence, the people who really need help and hope are banging down our stained glass windows trying to get answers, and we can’t hear because we are Hallelujahing too loud. There is a dying world here people, get off your lazy bum and do something. We are negative entropy in this world. We either destroy the evil and fix the wreck or we help it continune by ignoring it. This planet is sick with zombies, we have the cure. We are disenfranchised superheroes that have lost the plot and now just play charades in cape and mask. Money:
Debt is stupid. The millionaires who stay rich and got there themselves there by hard work don’t have debt. One of my heroes is Dave Ramsey, the man knows what he is talking about and is worth listening to. He tells people how they can become debt free and self-made millionaires by retirement. I don’t listen to just anyone. I listen to people who have a brain and use it. Dave is a southern boy, but not holding that against him, he says all the things I have always thought but never knew how to say.

Retirement:
Speaking of that, I don’t believe in retirement. I think it is a cop-out American idea and once we’ve worked a job our whole life, we get to relax and retire in comfort. I believe that my work on earth isn’t done until God has to physically rip me off the planet. I am here and I don’t want to stop or go home until I have taken everyone with me I can. I don’t want people to end up in a bad place without God, because when you shed the religious nonsense, he is the only thing that can make your life what you want it to be. He is worth knowing. You want love, want to know why you’re here, and where you came from, he is the answer to those questions, for real. I don’t play around with this stuff, it’s true. I will not retire if I can help it, because my life isn’t about a job, that is a part of it, but it is about helping other people, accomplishing the mission I was sent here to do.
